Cooking For Many
I get asked a lot how we afford to feed our family :)
I made Cheesy Chicken Casserole this afternoon. The amount I made will serve us meals three times. So for ease of math, I am calling it 33 servings. Now, yes, the little ones will eat less than the big ones, and such, but I'm not going into that level of detail or analysis ;)
It's partially organic. No processed soups. The kids eat it up with great pleasure!
This Cheesy Chicken Casserole cost us $0.75 per serving.

I deboned the chicken and put the bones into the crockpot to make bone broth. Bone broth is good stuff!

Morgan's Wonderland
We visited Morgan's Wonderland over the weekend. Fun!
This room was in the sensory building and the screens detected your shadows.
A Pond with pooling water
The butterflies would land on your shoulder.
Bucking broncos
We rode the train a few times!
And rode the Merri-Go-Round at least a half dozen times!
Water is always an attraction or my crew.

My Father''s World - Adventures Quilt
We have been working hard to finish up our remembrance quilt for this year.
We are using My Father's World - Adventures in US History.
We used the Cricut to cut the state shapes.
Before cutting fabric on the Cricut, I always apply Heat N Bon Ultra to the back of the fabric. This does two things 1) allows the fabric to stick easier to the Cricut mat and 2) turns the fabric into an iron-on applique.
So we cut and cut and cut and cut.
Then ironed and ironed and ironed.
We ended up with the New Elgland states running off the fabric and we forgot to cut Hawaii and North Carolina.
But for the most part our cut and applique process is finished. We actually did not have enough fabric and Heat N Bond left to finish the states. So a trip to Hobby Lobby and an Amazon order is need to finish up tat process.
