I know it is the end of the world, I made grammatical error ...
HA!!! I've been hit by my first troll. Bold enough to leave a comment, coward enough to do it anonymously.
Their (as opposed to there or they're) comment was ...
Anonymous has left a new comment ...
I would have.
The verb is "to have".
"of" is a preposition. Prepositions link nouns, pronouns, and phrases to other words in a sentence.
I hope you don't homeschool.
I am calling them out from their anonymous position. You see, they say "I hope you don't homeschool." But, from my blog tracking report, I can see they read my intro page which clearly states we homeschool, so they are just being a jerk, an anonymous, cowardly and deceptive jerk.
OH and I went to PUBLIC school ...
Anyone wanna track them down? Their IP address is 128.176.216.65 ...
Oh, for fun ... here is all their system information ...

Well, that's it! You made a grammatical error? We can no longer be friends!!! :-P
ReplyDeleteI mean, obviously the troll has never spelled anything wrong in his or her life, right? Never EVER EVER. Troll is PERFECT!
:::eyeroll::: silly silly silly!
(also, when I went to type in my word verification it was effu.. clearly a message to the troll, from the internet!)
hahahaha! Love it
DeleteObviously this person doesn't know you or how amazingly awesome you are.... So glad they know their grammar, too bad they don't know how to act like a decent human being. Gretchen D.
ReplyDeleteNice... Oh Jen, I hope you didn't waste a moment of time or emotion on this! You are an incredible lady, with an amazing family, and a beautiful outlook on life! Hang in there Sister, and for goodness sake, don't quit blogging!
ReplyDeleteStacy
Jen, you are an amazing individual, instrument of God; that's why there are beings out there despise what you do. They will things like this to discourage you, to embarrase you, to bring you down.
ReplyDeleteBut guess what, she or he did not know you they were picking on a wrong person! I am so proud of you!
All I can tell is that the person has a pretty old PC.
ReplyDeleteNo worries! We love how you write and what you write about! :)
ReplyDeleteTroll, leave my friend alone and get a life!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI bet the Troll can not prepare, clothe, and love on 9 babies today.
ReplyDeleteOh wow... I am sorry. It's basically my fault. With the IP address (I assume you can see mine as well so that should give you a clue why I know)... I swear I will personally kick the troll tomorrow. And I bend my head in shame because I showed her your blog (found your blog through no greater mom I think? maybe not, I don't remember, sorry). I never, never thought something like that would happen. I am sososo sorry.
ReplyDeleteI showed her your blog because her godchild is supposed to get a CI (they are still doing early test, he is still little and they are currently discussing if and when he should get it) and I thought this might give her an impression of what amazing things it can do.
It's a computer that is accessible to pretty much everyone (and Anonymous... yup, old ^^). But still. I doubt anyone just "happened" to see what pages we had been on earlier and made a comment like that. And she is a huge grammarnazi (and teaches ESL to adults). Again, I am so amazingly sorry. I don't even know what to say. I am mortiefied by her behaviour.
Thank you for taking the time to write.
ReplyDeleteYou are not responsible for the troll's actions, she is. I am responsible for mine and I TRY to spend my time doing something useful ... raising 9 kids, many with disabilities. I'd rather make a million writing mistakes than be a liar or a discourager.
In my book, humanity comes before grammar.
